COVID 19 - Action Statement for Little Meadow Park

We realise that for many of you there are some concerns when it comes to staying at a holiday let but rest assured our main objective is to ensure that you can visit with confidence and with this in mind we invite you to read the preparations and procedures that we have implemented. All of our four cabins are self-contained with no shared facilities on site, therefore contact with other guests is minimal. If you are walking around the grounds and come into contact with other guests, please keep to the social distancing rules. As we are managing a Public Health issue, we expect the full support and co-operation of all of our guests

Our Approach

• In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we have enhanced our exacting standards to a new level across all aspects of our cabins

• The changes we have implemented are based on the guidance from the Welsh Government, Public Health, and the National Health Service

• We can confirm that we have complied with the government’s ‘COVID-19 Secure’ guidance on managing the risk of COVID19 in the workplace and have completed the ‘We’re good to go’ accreditation in association with The National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Due to the constantly changing nature of this guidance and advice, our internal operating practices and protocols will be continuously reviewed and immediately updated as required. The information detailed below may therefore change without notice.

Little Meadow Park

• We will not open if any of our team show any symptoms of the virus

• We will be washing our hands (or use hand sanitiser) as recommended

• We will be required to follow official guidance on self-isolating

• We will be required to wear PPE as appropriate

• We will follow a policy of no physical contact and maintain social distancing, wherever possible

• We have a new “no contact” protocols – including handshakes

Our Valued Guests

• If in the unfortunate case, you or a household member have any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or loss of taste and smell, we ask that you don’t travel and you contact us to reschedule your stay

• It is important to note, that for the safety of our guests and the safety of our team, that any guests displaying symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will be requested to seek medical attention

• Please respect the social distancing measures in place at all times

• As we will not be greeting you personally during this time, please ensure you read the literature supplied in the cabin on your arrival

• Little Meadow Park is responsible for all aspects of our ‘COVID-19 Secure’ operating plan. You can contact us at any time prior to, and during your stay, should you have concerns related to this or any other matter

• We have been advised not to enter the accommodation unless it is in an emergency but you may call us if you have any queries

Cleaning

 • Enhanced cleaning programme is in place including spraying the cabins with antiviral disinfectant. Special attention will be been given to high touch areas including door handles, light switches, kitchen surfaces, TV remote controls, Keys

• Unfortunately, we have had to remove ornaments, games, DVDs and reading literature until further notice

• Once we have cleaned the property we will not re-enter. If you order a food delivery you must be there to accept the delivery

• Check in time is 3pm

• Check out time is 10am prompt

• On the day of your departure we ask that you remove all bedding and place it in the laundry bags provided along with towels, tea towel and oven gloves. We are advised that the main route of transmission of the virus is airborne and the process of removing bedding could make any viral particles that may have been present in bedding, airborne. This is why we are asking guest to strip the beds themselves.

Please leave all windows open if safe to do so

• There is currently no evidence that the virus that causes Covid-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. We drain, clean and refill the hot tub between guests and conduct proper operation and maintenance, including disinfection with chlorine which should deactivate Covid-19 in the water. All controls and cover will be disinfected. The hot tub will be checked every morning between usually before 10am

Thank you for your co-operation during this time
